Camping Le Paisserou is a 3 star campsite located in Najac in the department of Aveyron.
Camping Le Paisserou is within walking distance of one of the most beautiful villages in France: Najac. This medium-sized campsite offers nearly sixty spacious pitches, some of which are right on the banks of the Aveyron River. The pitches are surrounded by trees and low hedges for privacy.
As a guest of this campground, you have free access to the nearby municipal swimming pool. With three swimming pools, a diving board and a large wading pool, there is plenty of water fun for young and old. Right next to the campground is the outdoor adventure center. Here you can follow a challenging trail in the trees, navigate the rapids of the Aveyron in a canoe or lead your team to victory in a game of paintball.
At the on-site restaurant, La Cantine Pirate, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner daily during high season. The menu offers dishes with local accents, prepared with ingredients from local suppliers. A regional dish is served once a week. At the restaurant, the campsite also organizes regular music nights where you can dance.
For a slightly more luxurious camping experience, stay in one of Le Paisserou campsite’s unique natural bungalows. These bungalows are recognizable by their slate roofs, typical of the region. Each bungalow is individually decorated and has one or more bedrooms and a kitchenette. There is no private bathroom in the bungalows, but this is available in the chalets. These chalets are located in a separate “village” on the right bank of the river, and the pedestrian bridge takes you to the campground in minutes.
Camping Le Paisserou is open from the beginning of May to the end of September.
