Camping L’Ile aux Mille Charmes is a simple 2-star campground in Charmes, in the Vosges, located between the Moselle River and the Canal de l’Est, close to a lock. This peaceful location is ideal for nature lovers and hikers, with marked trails through the idyllic, hilly surroundings. Despite its tranquility, the center of Charmes is just a 5-minute walk away.
The campground offers 97 spacious campsites, each at least 100 m², spread across a green, open area with a few trees. The restrooms are modern and well-maintained.
For children, there are playgrounds and a trampoline, while adults can enjoy the bocce court. Nearby, you’ll find a skate park, a beach volleyball court, a mini-golf course, and tennis courts. Canoeing and fishing on the Moselle are also options, with the chance to catch carp or zander.
Although the campground doesn’t have its own shop or restaurant, the nearby town of Charmes offers everything you need, from fresh baked goods to cozy dining spots.
Camping L’Ile aux Mille Charmes is open from early April through late September.
