Camping du Val de Saône is a quiet 3-star campground located on the Saône River. The spacious pitches are along streets and in fields and are separated by hedges. The scattered trees provide shade. Outside the campground is a concrete plateau with wooden decking, from which you can swim. Canoes and boats are also available for rent. But you can also water ski and fish there; the fishing license can be purchased at the campground. Next to the campground is a municipal swimming pool, which is open to campground guests free of charge. Moreover, it is close to the highway the A6 between Macon and Lyon, 10 minutes from exit 30. Camping de Thoissey is open from mid-April to the end of September.
