Camping du Val de Saône is a quiet, 3-star campground located on the Saône River. The spacious campsites are situated along small paths and in fields and are separated by hedges. The scattered trees provide shade. Outside the campground is a concrete platform with wooden decking, from which you can swim. Canoes and boats are also available for rent. You can also go water skiing and fishing; fishing licenses are available for purchase at the campground. Next to the campground is a municipal swimming pool, which is free for campground guests. Furthermore, the campground is located close to the A6 highway between Macon and Lyon, just 10 minutes from Exit 30. Camping de Thoissey is open from mid-April through the end of September.
