Flower Camping La Beaume is an attractive 4-star campsite in Esparron-de-Verdon (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), quietly located in the greenery at the edge of the Gorges du Verdon. The site has 30 pitches and 30 rental accommodations ranging from mobile homes and bungalows toilés (lodge tents) to chalets, roulottes, tepees and even tree houses for 2 to 7 people.
It is open from mid-April to the end of September (approximately April 15 to September 24). The indoor heated swimming pool is open during the season and has an adjacent sun terrace.
For food and drink, there is a bar and a restaurant: the bar is open all season, the restaurant runs during the May vacations, on weekends in June and every evening in high season. Fresh bread and take-out dishes are available.
There is no private river or lake beach on site, but Lac d’Esparron with beaches and supervised swimming areas in summer is a short distance away; here you can also go canoeing, supping and boating. Other facilities at the campground include a playground, petanque, table tennis, bicycle rental and, in July and August, a children’s program and light entertainment.
With its verdant location, indoor pool and friendly atmosphere, La Beaume is a fine base for families and those seeking peace and quiet to explore the Verdon region and Provence.
