Flower Camping Val de Vie is a quiet 4-star campsite in Maché (Vendée), in a rural location near Lac d’Apremont and about a twenty-minute drive from the Atlantic beaches. The site offers 48 pitches and 22 rental accommodations, consisting of different types of mobile homes (from standard to premium, some with private spa) and a model suitable for disabled people.
The campground is open from early April to late October for rental accommodations. Pitches are available from April through September. The indoor, heated swimming pool is accessible all season and features a sundeck with loungers.
For food and drink, there is a bar-snack with terrace, daily bread and breakfast service and, in July and August, an evening snack with takeaway dishes. There is no private beach, river or lake on site, but the recreational beach at Lac d’Apremont with supervised swimming area is a short drive away; the wide sandy beaches of the coast can be reached in about twenty minutes.
With playground, trampoline, home-ball field, petanque and light entertainment in high season, Val de Vie is a fine base for families and those seeking peace and quiet between lake and coast.
