Les Flots-Atlantique is an attractive, family-friendly campsite on Île d’Oléron (Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron), with direct access to Baie de la Perroche and two beaches: a sheltered swimming cove near the sailing school and a rockier cove for beachcombing and fishing. The location is quiet and green, with bike paths leading from the bay across the island.
There is no swimming pool. For water fun, walk to the beach for swimming, supping, sailing, wind and kite surfing.
The rental accommodations consist of various types of mobile homes (from simple to premium), wooden chalets, Coco Sweet and Bali tents. In addition, there are pitches for tent, caravan and camper, divided into two “villages” close to the sea.
For food and drink there is a bar-restaurant with snack bar and a small store with bread service; this forms the cozy heart of the campground with themed evenings. There are also several playgrounds, (evening) entertainment in season, bike rental, Wi-Fi zones and a laundromat.
Can we arrive on any day of the week? Yes, this is possible in the low season from April to June and in September and October, depending on availability. In high season, your stay must be a minimum of 7 days and you must arrive on a Saturday.
With direct beach access, complete amenities and a relaxed island atmosphere, Les Flots-Atlantique is a fine choice for families and beach lovers looking to explore Oléron.
