Flower Camping L’Air du Lac is an attractive 3-star campsite in Saint-Hilaire-les-Places, about thirty kilometers south of Limoges. The site offers 60 shaded pitches and 23 rental accommodations, including mobile homes, canvas bungalows, lodges on stilts and furnished gîtes for two to seven people, all with private sanitary facilities and a covered terrace or sitting area.
The campground is open from early April to late September. There is no swimming pool, but one hundred meters away is the recreational lake Lac de Plaisance with a supervised sandy beach, water slide and SUP rental; the swimming area is supervised in July and August.
For food and drink, there is an on-site snack service in high season and a seasonal kiosk with bar by the lake, complemented by daily bread service and a small grocery corner. With its green, peaceful setting and safe swimming and play facilities at the lake, L’Air du Lac is a pleasant choice for families and those seeking peace and quiet to explore the Haute-Vienne.
