Flower Camping Le Lac de Saint Point is a friendly 4-star campsite on the shores of the lake of the same name in Saint-Point (Saône-et-Loire), about a ten-minute drive from Cluny and the vineyards of Southern Burgundy. The site covers four acres and has 78 spacious, shaded pitches and 11 rental accommodations, ranging from comfortable chalets and mobile homes to cozy lodge tents – some with panoramic views over the water or the valley.
The campground is open from mid-April to the end of September for pitches; rental accommodations remain available until the end of October, allowing for fall stays as well.
There is no pool, but a private entrance gate puts you right on the clear Lac de Saint Point, where a supervised swimming area, a small sandy beach, pedal boats and SUP boards are available in the summer. Anglers will find several quiet spots at the lake, while hikers and cyclists connect to the Voie Verte and surrounding wine trails.
For meals and conviviality, there is the guinguette: a bar-restaurant with a terrace on the waterfront, open from breakfast to dinner, with regional dishes, Burgundian wines and weekly live music or theme nights. The site also has a playground, petanque and basketball court, bread service, grocery corner with local products, laundry and free wifi at the reception and bar.
