Flower Camping La Davière Plage is a green 4-star campsite in Saint-Jean-de-Monts (Vendée), on the edge of the state forest and about 900 meters from the wide sandy beach of La Davière, accessible by hiking and biking trails. Small and family-friendly, the site has 70 pitches and 80 rental accommodations, including various types of mobile homes, lodges on stilts, bungalows toilés and cozy cabanas; there are also special accommodations. Some of the pitches offer extra comfort with Freecamp private bathroom and outdoor kitchenette.
It is open from early May to late September. The water park includes a heated outdoor pool with whirlpool, wading pool and play area for little ones, plus a sun deck with loungers. There is no river on site, but the beach on the Atlantic coast is within walking distance for swimming, beach days and long walks.
For food and drink, there is a bar-snack with takeaway (including pizza, chips and grilled chicken), a seasonal kiosk and a small store with daily bread and deli sandwiches. Facilities also include a playground, trampolines, table tennis, petanque, barbecue areas, bicycle rental and, in July and August, a children’s club and light entertainment. Thanks to the combination of forest, dunes and sea, La Davière Plage is a fine base for families and beach lovers.
